Thanks to the red transmitting LED, alignment to the background is easy: By setting the sensing range, the distance to the background is learned, and even reflective metal objects are reliably detected at all times.
Pulse Ranging Technology (PRT) ensures high reliability in object detection and strong resistance to ambient light and mutual interference.
