The device is optimized for use with fixed reflectors. Thanks to the red transmitting LED, alignment is easy: The distance to the reflector is taught using the Teach button, and self-reflecting metal objects are reliably detected at all times.
With Pulse Ranging Technology (PRT), a high reliability in object detection and a high resistance to interference from stray light and mutual influence is achieved.
