The RL80 was specifically developed for the detection of people, objects, and vehicles at gates. Applications include gates in both outdoor and indoor areas as well as barrier systems.

The main features are the extreme detection reliability on reflective surfaces at close range. Reliable suppression of vehicles or people passing close to the sensor is thus enabled. This prevents false switching and unwanted gate or barrier openings.

With energy-independent distance detection, reliable suppression is achieved even on highly reflective surfaces or reflective films on work clothing.

The well-thought-out sensor design of the reflective light barrier allows for both side and front mounting on metal or concrete pillars, offering high flexibility in adjustment with mechanical rotational adjustment. The adjustment range of 360° horizontally and ±2° vertically can be realized through this housing.

The following screw accessories are included in the delivery: 2 x DIN 7985 M4 x 35 and 2 x DIN 7981 3.9 x 35

Function of the test input:

For testing, the transmitter is switched off at 0 V or open test input. For operation, the operating voltage must therefore be applied to the test input (white)!
