You can open your new door lock in five different ways after installation: by code, fingerprint, using an active or passive transponder, and with a smartphone. Both the interior and exterior knobs can be opened and closed. This makes the secuENTRY pro 7010 Twin extremely versatile.

The technology of the twin cylinder in detail: interior and exterior knobs are disengaged in the inactive mode. Only upon receiving the appropriate signal does the knob engage; the door can then be opened or locked. Thanks to this technology, the secuENTRY 7010 is ideal for passage doors that should be locked from both sides, or for doors with reach-through possibility, such as garden gates. Since both knobs are disengaged, they cannot be opened by reaching through. The secuEntry Twin is also perfectly suited for outdoor use, thanks to the high protection class IP65 (protection against dust and water jets).

When opening via Bluetooth (code, fingerprint, active transponder, smartphone), all data is securely AES encrypted during transmission (4.0 BLE), ensuring optimal protection against tampering. The range is up to 4 meters. Both the interior and exterior knobs can read the transponder signals. The cylinder features a history function and remembers the last 2000 openings.

During installation, the mechanical cylinder is simply and quickly replaced with the electronically controlled secuENTRY pro 7010 Twin cylinder. It can be installed effortlessly in just a few steps – suitable for doors up to 130 mm thick (67.5 mm/62.5 mm, measured from the center of the faceplate screw). The electronic cylinder can later be integrated into almost any door without issue and is suitable for front, apartment, and interior doors. Existing fittings remain intact, and no drilling is required.

The door cylinder has protection class IP65. This means: complete touch protection, protection against dust ingress, and resistance to water jets from all directions. The required batteries are of course included (1x CR123A lithium battery each in the exterior and interior knob).

The secuENTRY pro 7010 Twin can also be used as an anti-panic cylinder for emergency exit doors with an anti-panic function. It comes standard with a freewheel and panic function FZG in accordance with FZG directive dated 2020-07-06 from PIV. This means: A door can always be opened from the inside in an emergency (e.g., fire), even if it is locked and cannot be opened from the outside. (The cylinder meets the F2 panic function and FZG class requirements according to DIN 18252:2018-05. Tested by the Locks and Fittings Test Institute Velbert (PIV).)
