Loop detector
NEW: As an alternative to induction loops, vehicles in front of gates and barriers can be detected with magnetic field sensors featuring built-in radar technology. This eliminates the complex installation of induction loops in the ground. Ensure that the sensor is not installed in areas where it can be damaged by ground-level equipment (e.g., snow plows). The magnetic field sensor is NOT a safety device and serves only as a convenience application.
Previously: For the invisible detection of vehicles at automatic barrier systems or in front of gates, induction loops made of several turns of wire, permanently laid in the ground, are suitable. The loop detector detects when a vehicle is over the loop and generates a signal. This can activate ticket dispensers at barriers, generate opening impulses, or prevent dangerous closing movements. By combining multiple loops, directional detection with a two-channel loop detector is also possible.
The easy-to-use, energy-saving Bluetooth diagnostic unit is designed for use with LC20 loop detectors. The adapter provides service personnel with feedback on the installation and setup of the detection loop. This ensures that the loop detector functions correctly, avoiding access problems and poor visibility of fault status indicators.
