With the secuENTRY shaft extension 5671, you can adjust the original shaft of the secuENTRY door cylinder to the required door thickness. The shaft extension, like the shaft used in the door cylinder, is made of stainless steel. The stainless steel outer shaft is designed for cylinders 7100, 7600, and the easy cylinder. This makes the electronic door cylinders suitable for even thicker doors. Elaborate and thus expensive special constructions are no longer necessary! The maximum extension of the outer shaft is up to 104 millimeters. Measure from the center of the fixing screw. For distances between 61 and 77 millimeters – again measured from the center of the fixing screw – the standard shaft must be shortened by up to 16 millimeters.

Fixing pin secures the stainless steel extension

To ensure the exact position when using the secuENTRY shaft extension, it is equipped with a fixing pin. Using the screw already used on the original shaft, you can easily secure the extension at the desired position. The knob should be flush with the door fitting. Please refer to the installation instructions included with the secuENTRY door cylinder for the corresponding procedure.

secuENTRY door cylinder even more versatile

By using the secuENTRY shaft extension, your electronic door cylinder can be used even more flexibly. Thanks to the greater leeway, you can now also install the secuENTRY cylinder in significantly thicker doors. For comparison: the secuENTRY pro door cylinder is designed for doors with a thickness between 60 and 130 millimeters without the stainless steel extension.

The secuENTRY shaft extension can also be very useful when moving or using a new door in a house or apartment. If this differs from the standard door dimensions, you still have the chance to continue using your secuENTRY door cylinder.
