The ProScan area light switch creates a fan-shaped detection field with up to 12 beams. This allows monitoring of the closing edges across the entire door width. The detection fields can be adjusted for different door widths. The ProScan, as an active infrared light switch, learns the contrast of the floor and detects changes caused by the presence of people or objects. It can also be used as an opening pulse generator. Long-term drift is automatically compensated.
