Vehicles are detected and identified contactless upon approach.

Application areas are wherever vehicles are to be granted permanent access, such as employee parking lots, company and official entrances, or entrances to other closed facilities (perimeter protection), as well as in warehouses for controlling gates (high-speed doors).

For vehicle identification, passive, maintenance-free UHF transponders are used in conjunction with the ID-RFID-UHF-ST-10000. These can be affixed behind the vehicle's windshield or mounted on a forklift truck, for example. With the support of encryption methods according to EPC Class 1 Gen2 V2, such as NXP UCODE DNA, secure authentication is enabled when required.
